Integrative Lactation & Infant Feeding Support
Non-judgmental support for however you would like to feed your baby from a International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Integrative Lactation & Baby Feeding Specialist and Community Lactation Educator
Feeding a newborn can be one of the most beautiful aspects of the postpartum period and it certainly can also be the most challenging and emotionally overwhelming. Helping new families prepare for and navigate this time is one of my greatest passions.
Services and costs:
-
In the comfort of your home, we will discuss your goals for feeding, assess both the you and your baby, answer questions about feeding and lactation, and create a plan for care with the family based on your goals.
I bring a sensitive pediatric scale for weight checks or, if feeding at your body, pre/post feeding weights to determine how much milk your baby is taking.
I take steps to make sure I am healthy and up to date on vaccines. I routinely wear masks, wash hands upon arrival and clean equipment with each use.
Visits are up to 90 minutes long.

Using HIPPA compliant software, I am able to connect with any family anywhere.
Great for folks who have questions about feeding or lactation, but don’t feel comfortable having someone in your home, can’t make it to an office, are unwell live outside of my service area or need advice on any of the following:
pumping and flange fitting
milk supply (over supply/low supply)
weaning
back to work
solid foods introduction
general feeding questions
breast/nipple pain
engorgement
plugged ducts
mastitis
relactation or induced lactation
bottlefeeding
It is ideal to have a partner or helper available to assist in achieving optimal camera angles.
Cost: $200 for out-of-network
How do telehealth visits work?
I will provide you with a video link to join me for the consultation. I use GoogleMeet as I have a HIPAA compliant agreement with them. If you prefer a different video call method, please reach out to discuss.
As with all visit types, I will discuss any pertinent health and feeding history and address your questions.
If you have pump questions, please have your pump and pump parts available to work with. I can size your flange and discuss pumping tips including pump settings.
If you are working on latching or feeding and can have a partner or support person present, it is extremely helpful as they can move the camera around and show different angles which is helpful in assessing latch at the body or bottle.
Telehealth consults are generally about 60 minutes long but can be shorter depending on how much there is to address. There is a 15 minute grace period for joining your telehealth consultation. If you have not joined in 15 minutes your consultation will be cancelled and the $75 cancellation fee will apply.
You’ll be pleasantly surprised at how much can be accomplished in a telehealth consultation.
