I’m excited to share something near and dear to my heart that I have been ruminating about for a while now. I'm starting a postpartum therapy and mindfulness support group with a friend of mine who is a psychotherapist. You can read more about her practice here.
We are combining our practice in mindfulness to provide a space for new parents to come together and share. My hope is to help more people build community and help reduce any anxiety that may come up during the 4th trimester. For me, building a mindfulness practice has been an ongoing practice and has helped me cope with the many challenges of being a parent and just everyday life. It’s a continuous journey and I have loved all the community I have built around it. My 8 year-old and I practice together still to this day!
You can be 5 months postpartum or 5 days! Babies are welcome and there will be space for your strollers.
I will also be around before and after the sessions to help with any questions that arise during postpartum and baby care such as, support with baby wearing, lactation & baby feeding, pelvic floor healing, vaginal and cesarean healing, milestones, sleep, self-care and much more!
